यो राजनीतिक अपडेट निर्वाचनका लागि जिल्ला निर्वाचन कार्यालय, मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकृत तथा निर्वाचन अधिकृतको कार्यालयले गरेको तयारी र राजनीतिक दलको गतिविधिमा केन्द्रित छ ।

This analysis update aims to inform and analyze the number, type, nature, actor, cause and impact of incidents. This update tracks and analyzes political incidents occurred between December 2020 and December 2021.

There was a significant increase in the number of political incidents between February 8 and March 22, 2018. 73 political incidents were recorded during this period compared to 32 during the previous reporting period between January 8 and February 7, 2018. The increase in incidents during this period can be attributed to the increased activities of unidentified groups and the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN).

There were 32 political incidents recorded between January 8 and February 7, 2018. 29 incidents were related to protests over the location of provincial capitals, in at least four of those incidents the protesters clashed with police resulting into multiple injuries. Two incidents involved demonstrations against moving local level centers and one incident entailed a protest against the language used by provincial assembly members during the first province assembly meeting in Province 2.

There were 47 political incidents recorded between December 8 and January 7, 2017, the one-month period after the completion of the second phase of parliamentary and provincial elections. Of all the incidents recorded during this period, 20 were related to the parliamentary and provincial elections.

मङ्सिर ११ र १८ को अवधिमा निर्वाचनसम्बन्धी ६४ घटना घटेको रेकर्ड गरियो । यस अवधिमा घटेका घटनाहरूमध्ये ५० घटना अज्ञात समूह तथा विस्फोटक पदार्थसम्बन्धी थिए, आठ घटना नेपाल कम्युनिस्ट पार्टी (नेकपा) संलग्न थिए, दुई घटना अन्तरपार्टी विवादसम्बन्धी थिए, एक घटना राजनीतिक दलका कार्यकर्ताहरू र प्रहरीबीच झडपको थियो, दुई घटना विस्फोटक पदार्थसहित केही व्यक्ति समाातिएका थिए र एक घटनामा पचास ओटा अवैधानिक मतपत्रसहित एकजना निर्वाचन अधिकारी समाातिएका थिए ।

कात्तिक ५ देखि मंसिर ७ सम्म ११४ चुनावसम्बन्धी घटनाहरु नेपाल मनिटरले रेकर्ड गर्यो, जबकी असोज १३ देखि कात्तिक ४ सम्म मात्र छ घटना घटेका थिए ।द्द घटनाहरुको संख्या बढ्नुको कारण यस प्रकार पाइयो: मुख्य पार्टीहरुको प्रचार बढ्नु, अज्ञात समूहहरुबाट उम्मेदवारमाथि हमला धेरै हुनु र सुरक्षाकर्मीद्वारा नेपाल कम्युनिस्ट पार्टी (नेकपा) का कार्यकर्ताहरुलाई चुनाव विरोधी गतिविधि गरेको भनेर पक्राउ गर्नु ।
